Here's a preview of a panel from a new Spice Cake page I just finished.

I'm working on some new pages for a little update. You can stay tuned at: https://spicecakecomic.blogspot.com/

Don't worry

If you're wondering what happened to my webcomic, Spice Cake..it's not dead. I'm still working on it!

Weird...

I revisited my old Tumblr account and I was not surprised.

Everyone has been talking about jumping ship re: social media accounts. I came back to Blogspot because of how simple and easy it is to post here...and how separate it feels. Other than that, no thoughts, and I'm just enjoying this for now.

Anyway:

Hello November

I mean it's kinda badass to welcome the new month with blood.

A monster and her daughter πŸΌπŸ‘ΆπŸ

These are two characters from a short comic I wrote and drew in 2017.

This monster mother dotes on her daughter 24/7, and is always ready with sweet milk and candy.

I've always wanted to do a series of comics on these two. Maybe someday.

A monster and her daughter. A little sketch of a possible sticker sheet!

I think I love you...

I went to a little signing event at the Silver Snail in Toronto for Shades of Fear! I was inspired to draw my character from my comic being admired by myself.

If you want to know more about the book, please check it out here: Shades of Fear by Balustrade Press

You can also get a physical copy at a number of local book stores and comic shops in Toronto.

His name is Sheldon

I found this shrimpy guy at a Crate and Barrel for $30 CAD. An expensive lad, so I didn't buy him...but I drew him instead to carve his memory into stone.

I also took some pics:

I was later told he's part of the Jellycats brand of stuffed toys for babies. Please do yourself a favour and browse their website. Not sponsored, but if they see this please send me Sheldon.

Baggy fashion

I've been wearing a ton of baggy clothes lately and with the colder months coming, I've revamped my wardrobe into more loose fits! I just don't like all the bunching that happens. As the years go by, I think I just want to be a warm blob.
